PREMIERE: Emperor - Mindgames VIP

Emperor has finally unleashed his highly-anticipated and long-awaited debut LP on Critical, and we can now confirm it was certainly worth the wait.

16 tracks deep, Dispositions is an intriguing insight into his creative mind, and something he says he really strived for when making the album. In his own words:

“’Dispositions’ is a piece of me, an insight into my personality. I wanted to create something that represented that and more importantly be an album that people wouldn’t expect.”

And that it certainly is, with the producer exploring much broader sounds and concepts than on any of his previous releases, no doubt utilising the creative freedom of the album format.

Never one to shy away from thinking outside the box, tracks like ‘Infrasound’ further cement Emperor’s versatility as a artist, with the tune growling and progressing like the cinematic masterpiece that it is.

And from the naughty stepper that is Thunder featuring MC Fats, to the creeper that is Foxholes and the straight up beast that is Sidestep, this album will truly have you captivated from start to finish.
