Drum&BassArena Awards 2018: Round 1 voting is now open!

It’s that time of year again….

Time to look back over your playlists, go through your festival videos, check your download folder and fav’d tracks.

Sit down, meditate, stretch your memory right back to when round 1 voting closed October 23rd 2017 and re-live your year in D&B. Anything from this date to today is fair game and eligible for nomination…

Get your nearest and dearest. Ask your neighbours which halftime cuts they enjoyed hearing best through your walls. Ring your mum and ask her what her favourite jump up tunes have been this year. Get your mates involved, dedicate an entire sesh to the topic. Do you whatever you need to do… You’ve got some big decisions to make about the music you love.

And you have less than two weeks to make them.

Our 10th anniversary Drum&BassArena Awards are officially open for votes – it’s time to show your appreciation for every aspect of drum & bass; the talented artists, their creations and the labels and parties that push them.

Most of you will already know the drill. Most of you will also know that people are likely to vote for things you wouldn’t have voted for, so make your voice heard.

We can’t stress this point enough: You can vote for ANYONE in this first round. The results will determine the final 10 nominees in these here categories…

Best DJ

Best Producer

Best MC

Best Track

Best Album

Best Label

Best Remix

Best Festival

Best Club Night

Best New Label

Best Newcomer

Best Video

SPOILER ALERT: It takes less than two minutes of your time to vote (apart from making the difficult decisions who to vote for in the first place, of course). You have from now until October 29th to do this. All you need to do is follow this link to vote. You can even edit your votes right until the very last minute.

Then stay tuned. The top 10 nominees in each category will be revealed in November along with full event details. As we said last week we’re doing things a bit differently things this year. But none of that matters unless you show your appreciation… 10 years of people power – let’s celebrate the tastemakers and vibe-setters!
