The bell rings: the nominees have been announced, the longest bout of the event is about to commence… You have from now until Weds November 21 to take part.
A huge thanks to everyone who pledged support in the first round and every act and brand who reached out for their fans to vote. We’ve tallied up the 10 most-voted entries in each category and the full nomination lists are revealed below.
The results are interesting; while certain big names remain prominent there’s a large wealth of fresh names and brands who’ve never been nominated before, some acts who’ve been nominated in multiple categories and a healthy range of sub-genres and styles reflected across each category.
As always the results will no doubt incite a couple of ‘who the hell is that?’ and a substantial amount of ‘why the hell has this not been nominated instead?’ moments, too. But such is life….
The Drum&BassArena Awards are powered strictly by public votes, it happens every year. It happens every time the public are asked for their opinion full stop. Now we’re calling on you to share your opinion again. Consider this a second referendum; but unlike Theresa May, we’re not down with any no deal business here…. We’re going in hard.
