“Putting the DUB into dubstep…This is the kind of stuff I can really get into – a deep dubby bassline, and some tasty 909 drumwork.”
DJG
Favourite D&B tune: Photek – Rings Around Saturn

“As a an old school junglist this is almost impossible! But the first track that comes to mind for me is Rings Around Saturn by Photek. I first heard it when I was a teenager. It had such a profound impact on me. It’s just a perfect piece of music – the atmosphere, the way the bassline interacts with the beautiful chords, the high hats sizzling along over the top of the amazing drum programming. I don’t know, it’s just such a unique song too, there’s nothing else like it outside other work by Photek, at the same time it’s a quintessential drum&bass track, it represents the genre so well. One of my favorite songs ever, really.”
