Hyroglifics & Signal – Make Me Feel
Hyroglifics links with Signal on the seductive sounds of Make Me Feel, forthcoming on Critical.
Artist
Surrey based DJ / producer Hyroglifics, aka Matt Harris, shot up the ranks after setting dance floors tremoring in the wake of the 2013’s Soundboy EP (Proximity Recordings) with a fiercely avant-garde sound of beyond his years.
Since embarking on the craft in 2010, a brimming sonic palette and easy aptitude for formidable bass lines, steppy beats and off-the-wall hooks have come to fortify Hyroglifics’ reputation as an upcoming architect in the transformative landscape of contemporary drum and bass. The futuristic sensibility and wall-shaking energy of his production hasn’t gone unnoticed, attracting signings by forward-thinking underground exponents Peer Pressure Records, Flexout Audio and Diffrent Music to name a few. It wasn’t long before Critical Music’s Kasra had tuned into Hyroglifics’ promising repertoire of noise and was ready to work this industrious young producer into the equation.
It’s at this point that Critical Music are very excited to announce new kid on the block Hyroglifics as the initial artist of the brand new Binary series; an exciting digital-only chapter of the Critical firm committed to unearthing the very freshest of talent.
