There has been a flurry of activity in the Noisia camp in the past couple of weeks with the Dutch trio creating an innovative new competition and a special ‘Making Of…’ Video, with a killer new single being unleashed on 19th Dec.
For anyone new to the story, their name originates from an old VHS cassette tape with the word ‘VISION’ written on it, seen upside down by the group, adopting ‘NOISIA’ as their moniker. As a result, the name crops up in all sorts of strange places and they asked fans to submit photos in a competition – check out the entries here.
Their new single ‘Could This Be‘, forthcoming on 19th December, sees Noisia raise the BPM back into drum & bass territory for their second Mau5trap release, with the kind of ferocious beats and deadly basslines that make them so popular on D&BA. To celebrate, they have unveiled a ‘Making Of’ their animated clip for ‘Exodus’, detailing the staggering amount of technical know-how and dedication (4 months to render?!) shown by the creator, Alexander Lehmann.
