This week’s staff picks come courtesy of Rich who is a man of many talents and does everything from managing the YouTube playlists, programming the kiss show, handling the promos, building studios and much more…but this is not about him, it’s about his tune selection …check them out and let us know what you think!
This has to my favourite vocal track of the summer. It came out mid-August, but didn’t get the attention it rightfully deserved! The vocal is nervous and timid, yet simultaneously epic, which paired with the underlying deep bass really brings the soul of this track through.
Coming from Enei’s widely anticipated album, this title track does not disappoint. It’s deep, has lot’s of feel and features some great minimal percussion, which is everything you’d expect from a Critical release.
Rudimental – Not Giving In (Ft. John Newman & Alex Clare) (Ed Rush Remix)
At first this feels like another crossover tune for daytime radio play with its ‘real’ instruments and big commercial vocals. Then the track drops and it’s something very different altogether, as you suddenly find yourself in Room 2 at Fabric pulling a screwface. Absolutely massive!
Enjoy!
