The foundation MC is one of the most iconic voices in the scene, and has appeared on many loved anthems from Calibre’s Drop It Down to Hype’s Peace, Love & Unity, Chase & Status’ Step Away and loads more.
Earlier today news broke that Fats was admitted to hospital in Sardinia following Sun & Bass after experiencing breathing difficulties. Upon further testing it was discovered he has blockages in all 3 of his coronary arteries and will require a heart bypass, as well as an angioplasty, along with further treatment.
The drum & bass community is once again uniting to support one of its pillars, this time with a Crowdfunding initiative set up by his friends to help raise funds for the vital surgery.
