The massive, crunching Agressor Bunx machine has rolled in to town: battlescarred and jagged, yet frighteningly next level at the same time. They’ve delivered salvo after salvo in the form of incredible releases and lately you may have heard them on Noisia Radio. Now they have aligned with Eatbrain to bring the alarmingly-adorned The Order ep. We decided to don the robes and get admitted…
AG, this sound is filthy as ever! When did the ep come about, come together as it were?
Thanks!
We were thinking about making some interesting and experimental sound and as soon as the tunes were ready, we signed them to Eatbrain!
We decided to put five tunes in this ep – with each having a distinctive flavour.
What things inspire you guys?
We’re listening to so much music, not only D&B because when you listen to different music, new possibilities open up.
If you only ever listen to the music of one style, and then it’s hard to go beyond that.
And of course, as there are two of us is always easier to achieve a certain result together, as we bounce off each other’s ideas.
Inspiration often comes at the time of writing, when making a sketch and pattern, forming the groove.
Any tips on that front?
We recommend trying to making music rather than waiting for the inspiration!
Inspiration is a very rare thing, and is not as often as people would like.
So who exactly is The Order?
We gave the ep this name because it’s really strong, and name ‘The Order’ we really like as a strong name.
With the artwork and cover combined with tunes, it looks sick – Thanks to the Eatbrain designers for the idea.
‘Dangerous Materials’ laughs in the face of trends and talk, to me. That is a disgustingly great track, most future thing heard in ages.
We started making this tune with leads, and its dangerous and dark atmosphere made us remember old school vibes from Technical Itch but in new style! It’s heavy live… really dangerous.
I get some great mental images when I listen to this: do you watch loads of films or do you not have time?
Yes we watch films when we have free time! Our favourites are: District 9, Inception, Interstellar, Intouchables, Limitless, The Book Of Eli and more!
Any forthcomings?
Yep, For this year we have forthcoming some releases on Eatbrain, Bad Taste, Program, Blackout and Ignescent!
But it’s not all…
