With two incredible and highly acclaimed DnB albums under his belt on Shogun Audio as well as collaborations with the foremost names in drum’n’bass, including Noisia, Marcus Intalex, dBridge, and Calibre just to name a few. Alix decided to push things further by collaborating with Dj Rashad, DJ Spinn and Stray on an E.P for the highly esteemed Exit Records as their landmark 50th release. “U” perfectly displays Alix’ abilities to create something completely fresh, heavy, classy, immaculate and brand new. This EP is Alix’ foray into a hybrid of Juke, bass, hip-‐hop and footwork influenced style of drum’n’bass, with his own distinct London slant on it. Alix’s incredible output over the years as well his eclectic DJ sets have regarded as one of the most ground-‐breaking and innovative producer/DJ’s of his time and the perfect headliner for our Circles Launch!

Since joining forces in 2007 Technimatic’s discography has spanned the cream of the drum & bass scene, with releases on the likes of Technique, Viper, Critical, Hospital and Spearhead; in 2012 they signed exclusively to DJ Friction and K-Tee’s Shogun Audio label. Since then they have become one of the go-to acts for rich, emotive, musical d&b, epitomised perfectly by their bestselling debut album ‘Desire Paths’. With a career that started way before the genre even had its name, DJ Die has been one of the main innovators in Drum and Bass. He is responisblefor countless DnB/Jungle classics and was one of the founding members of seminal DnB label Full Cycle. But surely is defining career achievment came highlights include winning the Mercury Prize along with Roni Size as reprazent. Die has always been much more than just a D&B DJ and producer, as his 80s-boogie celebrating Laminate Radio project with Gus Pirelli and the launch of the multi-genre Gutterfunk label deftly prove. Following initial releases from the likes of Mensah, First Aid, Interface and Die himself, the label has quickly gained a reputation for top qaulity diverse and eclectic bangers , expect the Gutterfunk name to be on everyone’s lips in 2013, just as DJ Die’s has for the last 20 years.
