What’s on your rave agenda this August Bank Holiday?
How does this line-up look to you? Marcus Intalex, DRS, S.P.Y, Dub Phizix, Calibre, dBridge, Doc Scott, Klute and Fabio….
Massive, right? It gets better. Like their Easter bash, on August 25 A Bunch Of Cuts will be held at a secret London warehouse. And the vibe, as far as Marcus Intalex is concerned, will be one of the best in town.
“We did one a few months ago and I was blown away by it,” he tells us. “It reminded me what raves used to be like 20 odd years ago but with the production of today. It really did feel like a proper rave. The soundsystem, the lighting… Everything but with modern production standard. When I walked out I said it was the best gig I’d done in London in years. Seriously.”
A fine stamp of quality. What’s more, it’s to celebrate DRS’s forthcoming album we shouted all about right here. Featuring Marcus himself, Calibre, Lenzman, Lynx, Enei, Genotype, dBridge, S.P.Y and Dub Phizix, the first single Count To 10/Holding On is out now and it’s more than worthy of a massive warehouse rave-up. It also marks a whole flood of forthcoming fresh vibes on Marcus’s Soul:r label…
“I’ve got great new music from Lynx, Bungle, Hybrid Minds…. There’s a lot to put out.” he tells us. “I’m thinking about doing a series. There’s a lot of really interesting, forward thinking music around right now and I’m sat on a lot of it. It’s time to get it out there. But first, DRS’s album!”
And a massive warehouse party to celebrate. Get more details here. And to win tickets simply answer this question below.
