Tuff Touch

Uk based producer, Patrick Holder aka Tuff Touch, started programming his first beats at the early age of 16. With a keen ear for bass heavy tracks, Tuff Touch listened to Jungle which developed in to early Drum & Bass and he became hooked.

Shortly after falling in love with Drum and Bass he purchased a studio set up to pursue his true passion and decided to get his production skills up there with the best. His first release was in march 2013 on Lucky Breaks digital, which was called the ‘Mindscape EP’. Tracks included in the ‘Mindscape EP’ were ‘Mindscape’, ‘Retro step’, ‘Close your eyes’ and ‘Come get some’. This EP was a cross genre release which showed from the very start his ability to switch up styles and vibes from DnB, Drumstep to Dubstep. The ‘Mindscape EP’ title track, reached number 16 in the Track It Down Drum and Bass singles chart and the EP came number 50 in the top 100.

Tuff Touch’s genre crossing style showcases his ability to roll out smooth breath taking melodic liquid tracks built upon a foundation of deep bass with amazing uplifting chord progressions to his tear out style of DnB forged with frantic energy that will ignite any crowd. Crafting his sonic arsenal of cutting edge dynamics using hypnotic keys and intricate arpeggios to create the calm before the storm, with a complete spectrum of energising build ups to colossal drops! Heavy vivid growling basses, neuro-laced beats, intense synth melodies and futuristic leads. Across the board Tuff Touch is an innovator to any style of bass heavy music production he puts his hand to.

After being approached by Mayan Audio, who showed a great interest into his exciting electrifying sound, Mayan Audio believe this man to be one of its strongest dance floor smashing artists, with big club tracks which will test any sound system around the world. Tuff Touch is now looking forward to releasing his latest material with Mayan Audio. With his debut single and an EP soon to follow, Big things are to come for this up and coming force!
