Don’t be shy: We are interested in ALL styles, ideas and concepts.
Whether you’re a professional designer, a budding artist, a passionate photographer or fixated by fashion, if you have an idea that you think will look sharp on threads while representing Drum&BassArena into the future then get involved!
Your brief is simple:
* Create a fresh, exciting look that Drum&BassArena fans around the world will be proud to wear
* Your only restriction is a maximum of 11inches (27cm) width across the chest. This is to make sure it looks as good as it possibly can!
* You can put the Drum&BassArena logo (right click to save) anywhere you like… But you can’t mess with the logo itself
* Nothing offensive, nothing naked, nothing naughty
* This must be your own original work – no trademarked material or pilfering please!
* Just one side of the tee can be designed on and three colours only…
That’s it. The rest is down to you. No faking: this is a unique competition.

HOW TO ENTER…
Get designing and submit your entries to comps@breakbeat.co.uk by 9am July 21. Entries should be in jpg or pdf format.
Our judges – The Risky and our creative director David Bailey – will assess your creative skills and on the week of July 22, the five best entries will be posted on our Facebook page.
The winner will be announced on July 29 via our weekly Monday newsletter… And their t-shirt will be on sale on our merchandise store within weeks.

THE LEGAL STUFF
The terms and conditions that apply to any and all artistic works and designs made between the dates specified in the Instructions, in relation to the Competition as hereinafter defined are as follows (‘the Terms’):

AEI Media Ltd (’AEI’) is the licensee of the Drum&BassArena logo (‘the Logo’).

AEI is entitled to and intends to run a competition (‘the Competition’) to find a design artwork (‘a Design’) for a special edition Drum&BassArena t-shirt (‘the T-Shirt’), to be sold in the Drum&BassArena merchandise store.

The ‘Instructions’ means the instructions on how you may take part in submitting a Design for the T-Shirt as set out above

‘You’ or ‘your’ means any and all persons reading these Terms and who makes or intends to make a Design and submits the same all as per the Instructions, as the same are linked to herein.

You hereby acknowledge and agree that you have read and understood the instructions and that you are and shall be bound by the Instructions and these Terms.

AEI hereby grants you the non-exclusive rights to reproduce the Logo solely for the purpose contemplated in the Instructions. The Logo must be used in its entirety and not amended or edited in any way.

You hereby grant AEI the perpetual and worldwide non-exclusive right and ability to use, publish, advertise, market, and distribute your Design whether printed on the T-Shirt or otherwise.

You represent and warrant that your Design is your own original work and that AEI shall require no additional permissions of any kind to incorporate and use all or any portions of your Design in relating to the T-Shirt as contemplated by these Terms. You further represent and warrant that your Design does not infringe the rights of any third party in any way.

All rights in and to the Design are and shall be vested in AEI in perpetuity and you shall have no claim in and to the Design or any part thereof howsoever.

AEI will not cover any costs associated with your Design howsoever they may arise.

You acknowledge and agree that on request you will supply AEI in a timely manner with the highest resolution copy of your Design for their use as set out in these Terms.

You hereby acknowledge and agree that AEI shall not have any obligation hereunder to credit you for the use of your Design in relation to the T-Shirt, and further that you shall not be entitled to any fee, compensation or commission of any kind in the event that your Design or elements thereof are used on the T-Shirt or for any other use of your Design contemplated hereunder, other than the stated prize.

The prizes are as stated, are not transferable to another individual and no cash or other alternatives will be offered.

The promoters reserve the right to amend or alter the terms of competitions at any time and reject entries from entrants not entering into the spirit of the competition.

Where applicable, the decision of the judges is final based on the criteria set out in the Instructions and no correspondence will be entered into over this decision.

Competitions may be modified or withdrawn at any time.

No other terms either express or implied are intended to be included in these Terms.
